Holly Helmann
MA, LPC

 

Holly holds a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Lakeland University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a deep commitment to supporting individuals through every stage of life. She works with children, adolescents, and adults, creating a compassionate, collaborative space for growth, healing, and self-discovery.

Holly works with individuals of all genders and backgrounds, while maintaining a special focus on supporting women and girls. She recognizes the unique social, emotional, and developmental experiences that often shape their mental health journeys and is passionate about providing thoughtful, empowering care—while ensuring every client feels seen, respected, and understood.

She specializes in the treatment of ADHD, with particular expertise in working with adult women and children who often face unique challenges related to attention, organization, emotional regulation, and self-esteem. She is passionate about helping clients better understand their neurodivergent traits, build on their strengths, and develop practical, sustainable strategies for thriving in daily life.

Holly has extensive experience working with women, children, and teens who have experienced trauma and other life stressors. Her approach integrates evidence-based and strength-based modalities, including TF-CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and psychoeducational strategies. She tailors treatment to each client’s unique needs, goals, and lived experiences.

Her therapeutic style is direct, honest, and down-to-earth, often incorporating humor and light-hearted conversation to explore even the most complex topics. Holly believes meaningful change happens within a safe, supportive relationship and works collaboratively with clients to foster resilience, insight, and lasting growth.

With extensive experience in crisis intervention, Holly has worked in hospital and correctional settings, collaborating closely with law enforcement to support individuals experiencing suicidal thoughts and self-harm. Her diverse background brings a steady, grounded presence to her work—especially for those seeking clarity, resilience, and emotional wellness while navigating life’s many demands.
