About CCS
Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) is a program that helps people of all ages live their best lives. It focuses on unique needs that relate to mental health and substance use. CCS is a voluntary, community-based program funded by the State of Wisconsin and operated by the consumer's county Department of Human Services. The CCS program offers a wide array of psychosocial rehabilitation services. These are services and support activities that assist CCS clients with mental health and/or substance use conditions to achieve their highest possible level of independent functioning, stability, and independence, and to facilitate recovery.
Grace Counseling and Family Services provides CCS Services for
Sauk, Juneau, Monroe, Columbia, and La Crosse counties.

Jordyn Ballweg

Jordyn is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point with a Bachelor’s degree in Family Consumer Sciences- Family Life Education. Through her work history and studies, she has developed a passion for helping youth, adults and families to reach their highest potential and meet desired goals. Jordyn currently works with youth and adults providing service facilitation through the Sauk County Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, crafting and camping.

Sabrina Benish

CCS Administrator
Sabrina is the Office Manager at our Reedburg Outpatient Location and CCS Administrator at our Reedsburg location, working behind the scenes to help things run smoothly. With 18 years of experience in child care within the Reedsburg community and 6 years as a licensed foster parent in Juneau County, she brings compassion and dedication to every part of her work. Sabrina enjoys camping with her family, reading, attending sporting events, and being actively involved in her community. You’ll always be greeted by her friendly smile and a genuine desire to support others.

Brigette Chizek

Service Facilitator & Therapist
​Brigette earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and works within the CCS program as a service facilitator, therapist, and group facilitator. She is passionate about Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and utilizes a person-centered approach, meeting individuals where they are while honoring their strengths and experiences. Brigette believes in being easygoing while remaining curious, open, and engaged, and she is a strong advocate for the “underdog” in all of us, supporting individuals with compassion and encouragement through each stage of recovery.​​​​​​

Christina Norcia-Puntney

Service Facilitator
​Christina received her Bachelor of Psychology with a focus in Crisis Counseling, along with her Master’s in Human Services Counseling specializing in Crisis Response and Trauma from Liberty University. She is deeply passionate about helping others navigate challenging life experiences and has over seven years of experience in the human services field, working with both adults and youth in a variety of settings. Christina values creating a supportive, compassionate space where individuals feel heard and empowered in their healing journey. Outside of her professional work, she is an avid travel enthusiast and enjoys spending quality time with family, as well as being outdoors and connecting with nature.

Laura Gavin

​Laura received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from UW-Stout in December 2019. Laura works with all ages as a service facilitator in the Sauk County CCS program. She believes in supporting others to find positive relationships throughout their lives to better their well-being. Laura’s approach is always laid back, empathetic and person-centered, ensuring that people feel understood and supported. She has worked with individuals from many different walks of life and believes that our past does not define who we are. In her free time, Laura enjoys spending time with her family and two cats, gardening, and listening to music.​

Natalie Jenswold

Service Facilitator
​Natalie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work and a minor in Human Services from UW-Whitewater. She also holds an associate's degree in Early Childhood from Black Hawk Technical College. Natalie has worked with individuals from 18 years of age to end-of-life, with developmental and physical disabilities and mental health. She is a strong advocate for individuals and believes in a consumer-centered approach. Natalie has a passion to assist individuals with their goals, hopes and dreams and overcome the barriers they face. In her free time, Natalie enjoys spending time with her family, running, watching sports and gardening. Natalie believes "there is no greater joy nor greater reward than to make a fundamental difference in someone's life."

Matthew Carpenter

Matthew Carpenter has been a dedicated part of the CCS community for the past four years and now brings his experience and passion to Grace Counseling and Family Service as a Service Facilitator. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point.
Matthew is committed to supporting individuals of all ages and is especially focused on fostering an inclusive, empowering environment where every person feels seen and valued. His approach centers on helping consumers build meaningful connections with themselves and their areas of interest, with the goal of promoting personal growth and well-being.
Outside of his professional role, Matthew enjoys spending time outdoors, staying active, and sharing quality time with his family. He looks forward to continuing to make a positive and lasting impact through his work.

Rachel LIzzadro-McPherson

​Rachel earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point in Psychology with an emphasis in Human Services and minored in Child, Youth, & Family Studies. She went on to complete her Masters in Education and Education Specialist Degree in School Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Rachel is a strong advocate for
individuals with disabilities and has spent her professional career working with children involved with community services and/or receiving services and accommodations within the school setting. Rachel’s goals are to help people within the community with a therapeutic lens and to create more safe places for individuals and families to process and build skills. As a member of the community, she is involved in an improv troupe as well as some community theater
productions.

Miranda Kraus

Miranda’s greatest passion has always been learning about people—who we are, why we do what we do, and how our experiences shape us—which led her to pursue a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She has worked with individuals from all walks of life, including those involved in the child welfare system and individuals navigating their end-of-life journey through hospice care, and has learned that being part of someone’s path toward “success,” however they define it, is a true privilege. Miranda enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities and approaches her work with compassion, curiosity, and openness, believing that she can learn just as much from those she serves as they may learn from her.

Ashley Roller

Ashley graduated with her Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Saint Mary’s University-Minnesota. For the last four years, Ashley has worked in the Comprehensive Community Services program and believes in a person-centered approach, with the client driving their treatment process. Ashley has experience in working with children, adolescents, and young adults, prioritizing strengths while addressing challenges. Further therapeutic techniques utilized are cognitive behavioral therapy and family systems. Ashley believes that fostering a positive therapeutic relationship begins with creating an empathetic and nonjudgmental environment where all aspects of an individual’s everyday experiences can be explored. In her leisure time, Ashley loves to spend time with her dog, Millie, family, and friends. Other activities enjoyed include reading, being out in nature, and going for walks.

Mahkinzie Brown

Kinzie earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from Winona State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work with a focus on mental health at UW-Madison. She believes in utilizing a person-centered approach, emphasizing the importance of creating a safe and supportive environment to effectively work alongside clients. Kinzie has gained valuable experience through her internship in the Community Supportive Services (CCS) program with Grace, as well as her work in a residential facility. She remains curious and is eager to contribute her energy and perspective to the team as she prepares to advance her career in social work. In her free time, Kinzie enjoys learning about mental health, spending time with her family, and playing with her dog.

Stephaine Baker

​Stephaine earned her Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Youth and Child Care from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, followed by a Master of Arts in Instruction from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. With over twenty years of experience as both a middle school science teacher and an elementary teacher, she has also served as a coach and mentor, consistently advocating for the growth, development, and well-being of all individuals she works with. Stephaine brings a wealth of knowledge, patience, and creativity to her work, believing in the power of hands-on learning and meaningful engagement. Outside the classroom, she leads educational travel groups, combining her love of exploration with experiential learning opportunities that inspire curiosity and discovery. Her passions for travel, hiking, camping, and reading not only enrich her personal life but also inform and inspire her approach to teaching and mentoring, encouraging students to explore the world and their potential with confidence and enthusiasm.

Corina Leak

Corina is a dedicated provider in the CCS program, where she works with both adults and children as a community mentor. She brings a wealth of experience from her background in education, holding a master’s degree in Education and having enjoyed a fulfilling career as a teacher before retiring. Corina is passionate about supporting individuals in building meaningful, fulfilling lives and believes that everyone is worthy of a life filled with joy and happiness. She values creating a supportive and encouraging environment where clients feel empowered to reach their goals. Outside of her work, Corina enjoys spending quality time with family, diving into a good book, and going on UTV rides, finding balance and joy in both adventure and relaxation.

Stephanie Shankle

Stephanie is a community mentor in the CCS program, working with both adults and children to support them in achieving their goals and navigating life’s challenges. She approaches her work with compassion, realism, and a calm, consistent perspective, helping those she serves feel seen, supported, and empowered. Stephanie has a deep love for the outdoors and enjoys exploring nature in all seasons through hiking, canoeing, camping, and other adventures. She also treasures quality time with family and friends and values opportunities to learn from others while offering guidance and support. Stephanie believes that everyone is worthy of a better life and encourages those she works with to pursue their dreams with confidence and hope.

Kathy Holly-Bixby

Kathy is a dedicated mental health professional currently pursuing her master's degree in social work from Capella University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire and is passionate about supporting individuals from all walks of life on their path to healing and growth.
With a future-focused approach to therapy, Kathy believes in meeting people where they are—with empathy, respect, and an open mind. Her practicum work is rooted in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to take steps toward positive change.
Kathy brings a compassionate presence and a deep commitment to helping clients of all ages navigate life’s challenges with dignity and hope.

Tamara Eden

Community Rehabilitation Specialist
Tamara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work, along with CCAR Recovery Coach certification and a Substance Use Disorders certification from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She has also completed all educational hours toward her SAC-IT credential.
Throughout her career, Tamara has worked extensively with adults experiencing mental health challenges and substance use disorders in community, residential, corrections, and law enforcement settings. She has also supported at-risk youth and youth navigating mental health challenges.
Passionate about walking alongside others on their journey toward their happiest and healthiest selves, Tamara approaches everyone with compassion, empathy, respect, and a nonjudgmental attitude.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, sharing laughter, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and caring for her three small dogs.

MaCall Tourdot

Therapist
MaCall earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University and brings a wealth of experience and compassion to her work. She views therapy as a collaborative journey, partnering with clients to enhance self-awareness, explore new perspectives, and develop personal strengths that support a more fulfilling and positive life. MaCall is committed to fostering a judgment-free and supportive environment where individuals, couples, and families can explore their true selves with courage and authenticity. She values working with people from diverse backgrounds and abilities and is affirming of the LGBTQIA+ community, striving to create a space where everyone feels seen, respected, and empowered. In addition to her work as a therapist, MaCall serves as an outpatient therapist and the Clinical Manager for Grace Counseling’s Outpatient program, overseeing services and supporting both clients and staff in their growth and success.

Amber Steele

​Amber earned her Master of Science in Mental Counseling from Viterbo University and has dedicated her career to supporting individuals in their personal growth and healing. While her primary specialization is in child and adolescent therapy, she has extensive experience working with clients across all age groups and diverse backgrounds. Amber was drawn to the counseling profession out of a genuine desire to help others recognize and utilize their personal strengths in the healing process. She believes that each person is the expert of their own journey and approaches therapy as a collaborative partnership, integrating a variety of evidence-based techniques to meet the unique needs of each client. Amber is committed to creating a safe, compassionate, and supportive environment where individuals can explore challenges, develop resilience, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

Jamie Rogers

Jamie has earned a master's degree in mental health counseling from Lakeland University and a bachelor's degree in music education from UW-La Crosse. As a licensed professional counselor, she supports children, adolescents, and adults on their mental health journeys. Jamie adopts a person-centered approach, creating a genuine, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment to address life's challenges. She employs various therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral, dialectical behavioral, psychoeducation, and play therapy, viewing therapy as a collaborative partnership that fosters self-awareness and personal strengths. In her leisure time, Jamie enjoys playing the drums and piano, sharing laughter with friends and family, and spending quality time with her son.

Janna Marschall

Janna earned her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Viterbo University and has focused her work on supporting children and adolescents in navigating life’s challenges. She is committed to creating a safe, compassionate, and nurturing therapeutic environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Janna employs an integrated and collaborative approach, drawing from a variety of evidence-based techniques to tailor therapy to each individual’s unique needs and goals. She believes that every client has inherent strengths and capacities for growth, and she works to empower individuals and families to recognize and build on these strengths as they progress along their path toward self-discovery, healing, and personal fulfillment. Janna’s dedication to her clients’ growth extends beyond the sessions themselves, as she strives to foster resilience, self-awareness, and confidence that clients can carry into all areas of their lives.
